Our local Woolies has 20% off iTunes vouchers at the moment as well, makes it an even better deal. I just bought Hema 4wd and all the maps for $80.

The standard map for NSW is a 1:250,000 job, it has all the main tracks on it but is lacking the finer detail. The standard maps for the VIC high country are tops. For the finer detail on the weekend warrior trips I just use MotionX, only cost $2.50.

Looks like MotionX is apple only, don't see an android version.......

Yes I do and the detail is much better, shame they don't do an android version. I've got the Garmin topo maps which are 100K, don't know if they will work on the android tablet or phone, but they work on my Garmin gps......
Not sure what tracks are in there either (you can tell I use it a lot...lol).

That is so much easier to read than Hema. Pity theres no Android though.

The first 4 are MotionX, the last 3 are Hema. I was trying to show, but possibly didn't explain it that well, that the Hema map in the High Country was much better than the standard NSW Hema map.

Aah trying to look at map like that via a phone is not good. Makes sense now...
