Hi All,

Just got myself a GU 2004 4.2 ST Coil Cab and want to get some ideas on Canopies for her. Anyone got any recommendations on people who do a good job at a fair price.

what sort of canopy are you thinking of?

If Canvas, search for PM Canvas Products on Facebook, and XLR8 fabrications to do the customer bar work.

If you're think of a Telstra type canopy, I know a company on Cohn Street in Carlisle that do that sort of work http://www.yellowpages.com.au/wa/carlisle/modified-vehicle-systems-11988718-listing.html?referredBy=www.yellowpages.com.au&context=businessNameSearch

Might be worth drawing up what you want and showing it to a few places.
Its not that hard to build one yourself, maybe with the help of a mate handy with a welder
Darn sight cheaper too

ideally I'd like a sealed one similar to the Telstra types that's lockable obviously price is going to be a deciding factor. Be nice to be able to have a rooftop tent on it. Has anyone used Bosston Auto Bodies before?

Will have a chat with Xlr8 as well.

G'day mate,

Here's where I got mine from..... http://www.roscos.com/
They are a WA company in Bibra Lake.

http://www.roscos.com/products/single-cab/big-al-ba1

They made mine, which is on the back of a Telstra 4.2 TDi ute.

Hope this helps.

Rossco

Edit: I bought my ex Telstra ute from a car yard, so the pod was already on it when I bought it. Didn't make it clear enough. lol

Also have a chat with Matt at MVS (in the link I put up) mate Their main line of work is turning wagons into dual cabs and they can make pods to suit your requirements.
