does anyone know where I can get a plate to block off the egr pipe that comes of the back of the exhaust. the pipe has split.kev

Hey Bud,
Make one up yourself, I cut one out of a metal bracket, put a bit of high temp gasket maker on there aswell.
May have to disconnect off the EGR side as not much movement from that pipe, (unless you notch the bolt holds out, a lot easier)
Take it easy on those pain in the ... bolts/nut.

goin to get a gasket today and make a plate up easiest way trying to make a plate any other way would be a total pain in the freckle.

wont you need to block the other end off too as you will get blow back

Hey Kev is this the pipe right at the back of the block above the bell-housing ?? The one I've circled in blue ??

Kev, why don't you just make up a blanking plate and block the pipe altogether.

I can scan the gasket tomorrow if need be to use as a template.
I wish I could chuck the whole egr away, however didnt like the engine light showing up.

yeh going to make one in the morning I picked up the gasket to make it off that.
