Transfer Case Shifting

I just bought my first 4x4, a 2006, Patrol. I was wondering if I need to push down on the shift lever when shifting from 2WD to 4H and 4H back to 2WD? It seems to have a hard time going back in to 2WD (I push down on the lever each time at full stop and the auto box in "N"). Am I doing something wrong?

Pretty sure between 2H and 4H you don't have to push it down. It's just from 4H to 4L.

from 2wd to 4h mate and then 4h to 2wd you don't have to push down,it's only from 4h to 4l and back you push down.....while your at it do you want ot pop over to the intro section and say g'day..
