G'day guys,
Got my GU recently. Came with Injected LPG.
I've noticed that it wont auto switch over to LPG and I have to manually hold the button down for it to flick over.
Apparently it should auto switch when the parameters are met ie. Water temp is xyz Degrees, or what ever.
I have a feeling that the parameters are out.
anyway, I went into a place this morning to get it sorted, they said they could tune it. Ended up being told that the ECU wouldn't accept the update they tried, my injectors were rooted, the ECU was crap, and the converter would sh*t itself in 3 months time and quoted me 3 grand. I told him the system runs beautifully smooth on LPG, but he insisted it needed to be done.
I took my car and left.
Now I'm looking for someone who is reputable, and will help me instead of trying to blantantley rip me off. I didn't even think injected LPG systems use a converter...I'd tune the damn thing myself but I don't have the right cable to hook up to the ecu, but i do have the software.
I've got a Diego G3 ECU. If anyone knows of this or can help, I'd appreciate it.
