So I removed my pump this morn and thought I would post a few pics and a brief description of how I removed it.

This is in place with no belt on.

Before undoing any bolts be sure to crack the main bolt ( the one I am pointing at) to make it easier to undo when you are ready to remove it. The other hose has a clamp which is easy to undo. You will need a container under the car to catch all the oil that is in the pump and hoses, you can then remove both hoses. Make sure you grab the washers that will be sitting under the input hose with the lug that connects to the pump.

I then undid the two 12mm bolts holding the tensioner bracket on.

Then I undid the pivot bolt underneath.

You should now be able to remove the pump.

Well I got my new pump on and running and while I had the tools out I stripped the old one apart to see what was going on. First up I took the mount off then the backing plate. 48678 48677 I then took the little sleeves out. 48676 48673 As you can see there is an indent in the gear where they have worn it down. 48674 Also not sure if these marks are meant to be there or not but they look like they were put there. 48675
