Hi guys
Have a 2003 gu Wagon with a zd 30 di automatic. As of late since me newest upgrades I suffer major limp mode.my new upgrades include a torqit chip a hpd top mount intercooler a dawse valve plus a new 3" custom pipe work from a new cobra head hpd air box lid to the turbo. I can only run a maximum of 14 psi any more it goes into limp mode.
Have no idea why it still goes into limp mode or how to stop it. So any help be great

There you go, all those upgrades have now combined to push the MAF (Manifold/Mass Air Flow) sensor voltages past 4.0 V bellow 3,000 RPMs so it goes in to limp.
What you need now is to "clip" MAF voltages by either purchasing HPD MAF housing and or by JDVM (Jaycar Digital Voltage Modifier) or/and to slow down the turbo spool up again by a needle valve.
Last resort is to alter stop bolt adjustment on the VNT arm.
Cheers

I have just finished setting up a JDVM and I now run 18psi of boost all day with no limp

You have to build the digital modifier and hand controller as in actually make the circuit board.. However it all comes with instructions and once set up you can play with the MAF voltages throughout the whole rev range and get rid of the limp
