So very sad an actor and comedian I grew up with and enjoyed... one of my favourites of his was The world according to Garp

Depression gets another one... very sad indeed.

Didn't necessarily like all of his work but what I did like I loved.
Most of his movies were pretty awesome IMHO.

He made me laugh more times over the years than any other entertainer thats for sure.

What a shame, such a great guy. I agree his roles in Dead Poets, Good Will Hunting and Good Morning Vietnam were outstanding contributions. This is a great loss.

So sad to hear about the passing of Robin Williams. His humour got me through a very tough childhood, allowing me to smile throughout adulthood. Knowing his battle with depression made me respect him even more. I'm just hoping the Big Guy upstairs needed him more than we did.

Rest In Peace mate, you've earned it.

His performances at the Paramount in SFO during those times had a lot of us watching him several times straight and we couldn't keep up. Genius as was his mentor who dealt with addiction/depression Jonathan Winters.

Bird Cage was another great movie many many funny pieces in that one.
When he first arrived on Happy Days I though wheres the fox hat , then having a "thumb off"
with the Fonz, BTW Fonzie won, So Nan Noo Nan Noo to you Robin Williams R.I.P
