So wife and i take some nice shots every now and then..
We finally got a full moon and clear skies so i was out the back learning..

Started with the 55mm lense and no go..
A bit of research and whalla..

250mm focal length
Only added a sharpener in PS due to cropping it by 3/4..

Yea I was hoping for more of a horizon shot but between kids tea and cloud it was to dark and to high to get it in...
I think a better shot could of been had if I bothered to drive outta town a bit..

Closest it's been in 25 odd years I think.
Was bright as hell last night..

lucky i didn't go out to look at it then. I think you are right about bad luck looking at the super moon as my nosy neighbor got to see my super moon when she looked over the fence the other night :)
