Does anyone know the specified boost on the ZD 30 (2006) when it comes from the factory?
Just a reference point when I fit Dawes etc.
Thanks

Just adjust until you hit limp mode then back the dawes off to just under limp mode. Most Di engines see around 16 psi before limp mode hits. How ever I have noticed the auto's seemed to get higher around 18.

Depends on a lot of things IMO, exhaust, chip fitted or not egr block
I would think they would have set the boost at around 12psi STD spiking to 16 psi
You then hit "Limp mode" with larger exhaust or over boosting as some call it

Thanks TD. Yes I have Beaudesert 2.75", no chip, and EGR will accompany Dawes. Need the EGT and Boost gauges first.

From what I've read here the 2.75" suits the 3ltr CRD very well.
get your gauges sorted before any mods then you can document any changes
Hey Doc is yours a DI 3ltr?

Hey TD,
Yep, it is direct injection--last model before CRD. The exhaust seems to help--not outstanding but definitely better than factory.
The only mod before gauges is a Provent--intake manifold is already building black "stuff".
Full NADS here I come!!!
