Gday I'm heading up straddy for a long weekend away and was wondering if anybody could recommend where to stay on main beach taking the misses and dog and plan to fish alot any help would be awesome

hey mate, at the risk of sharing our spot! camp 4 on main beach is beaut! Great view and no one else close. Enjoy where ever you go it is one of our favourite spots.

Struggling with the memory bank, but I think this was Camp 4 about 18 months ago. Great weekend over there. Getting up to your camp took a little effort though.

Fishermans Track from memory. As you head east toward the beach on the bitumen, you'll see a sign to that effect on your left. Solid bottom and a sneaky little bit of fun at the end to get you back on bitumen. Literally miles of track just like that, I was there April 13. Perfect water driving, around the sills deep, solid bottoms and went for bloody miles!
