RB30 EFI conversion , no spark

I am at the end stage of fitting an EFI RB30 motor from a skyline, have wired it up but am getting no spark, there is power to the coil. any advice would be helpful.

Faulty coil pack?

everything was working prior to it being removed from the skyline,
do i need to run power from the battery direct to the coil to give it more power to create the spark?
