I bought a old nissan with a td42 diésel engine its beautyfull so. I started to restore mi truck
and I found a diff lock but this not fix .
i´m very interest to fix the rear diff lock , I know the diff lock Works with a depressor and I try to energize it.(the engine use 24volt) then I seal all the lines who goes to the diff I don´t know how many pressure need to actívate Or how many volts I had to use to start de depresor please somebody could help me I will apreciate

i prefer to keep costs down and so i know the work has been done and correctly i do as much work to my rig as i possibly can. Im currently about to rebuild my power steering pump ive been searching on and off for ages to get a factory manual they into so much more detail. anyway if anybody has any tips and tricks they would like to share with me ill be more than appreciative. thanks guys.

welcome to the forum mate,,and yes..when I did mine I did not realise the little vains in the pump had a flat and a round side to them adhere to this or you will do as I did and pull the pump apart again after not being able to bleed properly the first time....the best thing about that thou it is so much quicker t he second time as you have alreadfy just done it....

Hi gents,
I'm a Brit(sorry!) living in Dubai, but driving a 1999 4.5 patrol.
I'm having issues with it not getting spark after washing/blowing the desert sand off her.
I started getting issues after i forgot to plug the MAF plug back in, so just want to check through the wiring.

So I'm looking at getting the wiring diagram for the TB45e engine

Hi my name is Neil, have a 96 GQ Nissan which has served me well. Has a TD42 motor. It has been a great workhorse, still going strong at 480,000 Klms and still going like new. Needs a tweek here and there but overall, best vehichle on the market in my opinion. The manual will be great as I have never had one for it, done all the servicing myself.
