Thanks guys just packing up and looked at the paper work ,
My bad I'm being admitted on Tuesday and having Op on Wednesday.
This is a big thing for me and it all rests on the out come,
to those that PM me thanks heaps it does mean a lot.
Been growing a beard waiting for this day so I can shave the bugger off lol
Yeah this is huge in my eyes and those that surround me.
But hopefully all will go to plan and I'll be up on the Murray
with my new Forum mates fishing for the mighty Cod [Hank]lol
I tear up thinking about this thats how important it is.
So watch out nurses here I come
as Danny Glover says "getting too old for this shite"lol

Thanks mate, I've always got straight back into things as that's the way I've always been.
This time I'm giving it a few weeks to fully repair before lifting or doing anything stupid.
Cost of this implant is $25,000 so its not just a TENS machine, excited and nervous at the same time but
Prof Teddy knows his stuff,. go two big sons to take some load off me for a while.
Will give me time to design some more gear that may be usefull

There's another guy on this forum that goes to hospital a lot, mostly just to have baths by the brutish nurses :)

Look forward to the war stories when you're discharged :)

Having another spinal cord stimulator implanted.
Technology has moved forward , so hopefully this one
will work, They wont be doing a vertical Operation
as after 16 Op my back splits open ,they say its like trying to
stitch 6 chops together. Better bloody work. too much fishing and ppl to meet.
Went to the docs this morning and fell down so timing is right, bloody embarrassing though.
Then its ok when it settles down.

John has advised that the Staples come out Monday Week and then lots of Gym Work to build up strength in Back Muscles.
In no Pain now.
Now just one more hurdle and that is get off the Meds and John has advised that he has gone cold Turkey so that will be another challenge.
The Meds that John was on were quite strong and addictive.(That explaines some of his incoherent Posts) LOL

Yeeeah I'm back, lol
no pain at all ,only a bit of bruising pain from the OP.
As I told a couple of you I now stand straighter, well straighter than before
cant wipe the smile off this guys face that's for sure. Did the cold turkey bit
and have had a couple of restless sleeps but no need for the heavy stuff anymore.
just a few Panadine forte till I run out, Staples out Monday week so easy as till then.
Now I have a generator implanted in my right butt that sends signals to the electrodes
on my left side where the pain was, as someone suggested ROBO TD lol.
this is all great but IMO will only last till the next Nueroma grows, which I hope it doesn't.
Hospital food is shite nurses were great and two thumbs up to the surgeon and theatre staff.
One funny thing did happen pre Op when checking my name tags, seems I had a different name on my ankle.
Surgeon reckons I could of had a new set of breasts if not detected, lo
thanks for your thoughts it really was my last horray. So thanks to all
Now my ignition barrel is playing up damit oh well

Proving a bit harder than I thought but I have been on the heavy meds for a long time.
