I have a Mav with a GU 4.5 petrol engine.
So what mods do I need with this setup if any?
So any pre/post inspection suggestions will help.
At the moment I am just dealing with getting it past the roadworthy inspection.
Got a few things to do anyway besides making it all shiny for the inspectors.
Thanks

Is it petrol only or dual fuel?
First easy things to do: fresh oil and oil/fuel/air filters, clean MAF and throttle body, check for any vacuum leaks/split/perished hoses in engine bay, check ignition timing.
A bit more involved: buy an ECUtalk, check fault codes, test and replace oxygen sensor, adjust tappets.
Once you have done the above you should be in a pretty good position to get (relatively) good economy outta the ol' TB45.

Thanks for the hints. It still has to go in for full checkup and have a few things fixed any way so I will add these to the list.
What I would like is an original steering wheel boss and steering wheel. At present its got one of those sporty things.
