Going to need help in stages...

As many know I am doing this conversion and once I have confirmed a buyer or decide sell my old gear in bits I will need a hand getting all the gear out.. there is so much to do not just pull a motor and box out but dash, fuel tank (to get pump)loom and so on.

So when all the dates are figured out I am asking for a hand... no super experience needed that will come for the install.

Now speaking of install I will need people like George and Matfew and Rossco and others with experience to come and help.... I am not racing this and want to take my time but having people who have done this will be a great help.

I will get the BBQ going and feed those that come and maybe a beer or two towards the end.

I just got a text message and my engine and box have just been loaded onto a truck on the Central Coast....god I am nervous.

Maybe on the day I rip all the gear out we could go to AB's for pizza.... ha ha ha.

And the reason I am posting this as I keep getting told off for not asking for help well here it is.......... blah!!!!

If you know anyone with a tandem trailer i can remove and refit the motors no dramas and leave the wiring and the other boring bits to you lot?? Just thinking it will be a hell of alot easier for me to do on my hoist

I was thinking i could swap the motors during the week and leave the week end open for the rest at Jonathans ???? That way i can start working on his beer supply !! Lol

We could flat tow it back after i get the motor in?? Your only a km or 2 away from the shop

The driver has a pallet jack and tail gate so thats not the issue, still would be better to go straight there if you have the room?..... also the compression kit turned up yesterday.

Not much to see its really straight forward Kev, all the important stuff will happen at Jonathan's on the weekend. Pulling the motor out is a 1 man job but if i need a hand my bro will be here, but thanks for the offer anyway mate!!

I believe there is. I would be using a hd item for the diesel anyway especially if planning a turbo.

It's a shame I'm in no position to upgrade my turbo and pump otherwise we could of put my ht18 on yours all plumbed and ready to go for the interim until you can upgrade later on too.

Yeah I know I am pricing up some perishables right now like hoses and belts and so on and it all adds up.

Rang Patrolapart and did not get much help from them... found some clocks for $120 and Gary is helping with the power steering pump, he also mentioned that I will some other bits.

I dont have an airbox but have been told the td ones are crap and I should use a holden one?

I have the top Mount air box Jonny you can have. If you run to top mount which is bigger you won't need the prefilter box.
