Please help smoking 2.8

G-day everyone I was driving along the highway the other day sitting on 110 all of a sudden the old girl started to smoke pulled over and stopped. I let rest for a while then started her up she run fine but still smoked
Got her home intercooler had a fair bit of oil in it so I cleaned out plus hoses
Air cleaner hose had come off turbo hose would this cause the problem
Checked timing all that looks ok
I have not started it since
Please help if any ideas would be most helpful

it could be that the hose from the Turbo that came of sucked dirt in to the Turbo ald destroyded but if the power is still the same you migt be lucky and it was something else
