Is there a way to get a 2000 model 3lt gu running without the key??

I need to check out an engine for a friend as it is being offered to me at a very good price but it was bought from the auction with no key....?

I gather its got NATS? If so good luck. New ecu without NATS or you need to get a key off Nissan

Will it be ECU or a separate box? If its separate then a new one from a wreckers with key head fit new cut blade to key head.

I just need to run the car to see if the engine is any good but if its to much bother then I guess it is not an option. .

I lost my keys from my old 2000gu with nats. I went to my local locksmith they needed my vin and engine number I think then called nissan. They cut a key to get in then 20 mins with their electronic gear and reprogrammed the system and copied 2 keys for it.
It cost me $460 to get it done which is considered fairly cheap
