Hi guys,

I am new to the Patrol scene and thus will be asking lots of Qs.

My TD42 NA silver top has over heated and damaged cyl 2, scoring the sleeve.

I am looking at buying a TD42T and want to know how to tune it! I am looking at a bigger turbo...

What would it take to make 150-200 rwkw?

What gauges do you have robo? Basic things like boost and an egt gauge will help. If you want a little more accurate then the investment in an afr gauge is a good one.

Boost and egt covered both VDO for accuracy.
No afr .

Looking to install IC and new or hiflow ht18 soon as funds permit.
So tune will most likely wait till then.
But pointers are welcome in advance giving me time to wrap the old noggin around it.
Firtsly have to decide either top mt or fmc.
leaning towards top, less chance of any unfortunate accident damage & stopped by the side of the rd.
Anyway, points as the man said please.
Cheers.

You have to be kidding!!, I gave up after reading the first 30+ pages of playful banter and prob about 5 pages of info inc pics.
not useful for some to sift through, but I did have several laughs.
