Aholes, hopefully Toyota can come to the party with a fully decked out 200s for him to do his last trip in,
It defies logic the way some ppl work, and agree 100% with NP99 lets hope the grubs get a good belting somewhere down the line.
When the end up in goal and they will lets hope they get a cell with Bubba and get free mouth organ lessons.

What goes through these people’s mind to make them think its ok to take for nothing, what someone has worked years and years to get? Bad enough I have to get up to an Alarm every morning rain or shine, then give 40% of what I make, to supply booze and smokes to these mongrals ‘cos there too lazy to bloody work. To then steal more because they think they are “underprivileged” and deserve it makes me very (murderous?) angry

Just reading that Australian 4wd Action and 4WD Supacentre are supplying him with a mint 80 series and will be fitting it out to.
Well done to them.

Looks like they've found his cruiser. This just posted on 4WD Action FB page......
BREAKING NEWS: Steve Hughes' 80 Series has been found by police, torched by the oxygen thieves who took it. It's missing some accessories, as well as Steve's multiple camera bodies and lenses. Please, if you hear of ANY abnormally-cheap 80 Series parts or camera gear for sale in Adelaide, report it straight to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. We'll bring you more news as it comes to hand, and update you on our massive project to get Steve and Lynne back on the road with a new Cruiser.

Agree 100% don't buy any gear off these grubs even if it is too cheap to be true.
Good to see he has it back as well. Any way of getting in touch with him as I'd
like to donate some rated recovery points to him.
Small gesture but its something less for him to worry about.
EDIT Its ok I already have contact details Doh
So what did the grubs achieve figgin nothing,, boy I hope the get caught at Cash Converters or similar
what gives these flea bags to right , fff'en fuming when I think about it

Machete, block of wood and chop goes a hand.
Marked for life that they are a thief. Some sh!t they do overseas is ridiculous but I sort of like this one!
I promise to be all PC and nice... tomorrow... maybe.

Dog act doing that to a guy. Stealing someone's rig or bits off it is about as low as you can get in my book(in terms of theft).
For all the bagging out they get, 4wd action always seem prepared to step up and help people out when life hands them the shi**y end of the stick.
If you're reading this, good on you boys.

I am not a fan of 4WD action / Australia or what ever they are called.
BUT this act of generosity and self promotion has raised their profile and respect in the 4x4 community, good on them.
It is great to see the victims of this callous crime getting some fair dinkum help

I get the theft of the rig and gear, but why torch it.....at least if it was dumped there be some value left. It's just plain evil....

Australian 4WD Action put up a pic of the recovered cruiser on their FB page. Started reading the comments, and ended up shaking my head and closing the page. Is it me or are the number of absolute dickheads in this country on the increase? Some bloke suggests it's all an insurance scam, many others said the car was insured so why all the fuss? Others posted pics of their "wrecks" as if everything is about them. I must be getting old but the lack of empathy by some people just astounds me. Makes you wonder how some people were brought up...... :(

It's what internet feeds on mate. Keyboard warriors like that. They jump on the PC and think the worlds spins around them.

you, like me and many others here are alone in a world full of weirdo's.
You can only educate some of the ppl some of the time, but not all sinks in.
That is why we are alone. Sad but true.
And two thumbs up to 4wd Action too,
was trying to get onto Dex but looks like he has moved on

I can only image how this guy would feel. I had a busted arse pink Hyundai Excel sedan stolen off me & i was ropeable. Luckly i heard it getting reversed up the driveway (typical FWD whine in reverse). I jumped straight into me mums car, picked up a 'bigger' mate of mine & went out looking. I found it still getting limped down the road after they crashed it. Long story short after a short chase they copped an alluminium baseball bat to the face as they tried to bail from the car.
