Hi guys,
I've ordered the nissan bull bar (steel) and R4000 headlights

But I've just had a phone call saying they do not fit. There both genuine parts

Has anyone else had this issue, or does anyone have them installed currently?

Cheers

You may find the OE bull bar is a snug fit as in very close to the grill.
Normal driving lights wont fit you will need a flat body style,
A winch style bar for a low mount may fit further away from the body work

Thanks three dogs,
Would you mind telling what that last sentence was? Lol is not making to much sense to me.

It is the Nissan winch bullbar.

That's a famous name you have there ,
was just saying a dedicated winch bar to suit a low mount winch will sit
further forward from the grill as opposed to a non winch bulbar,
which will allow fitment of any driving light you choose

It is the winch compatible bullbar, so it should be sweet I would think.

My name famous? Go on, lol.

They will fit but will stick out further than the front edge of the bar. They are very snug due to the ADR requirements and airbags.

I have an old set of Hella Rallye 4000 ( not sure if the never ones are the same) fitted to a genuine winch bar. I had to re-drill the mounting holes forward. I was just able to keep the lights in line with the front of the bar.

Have you thought about fitting a light bar instead?

The dealership won't drill holes in front of the other holes they say cause of the air bag requirement.

There is a compact version of the hella r4000. I think they have a 175mm lens and not 225.

What's your view on the light bars? I've never had one and don't know if I'm convinced by them yet.

I didn't think they would, you would need to do this if you were really keen to have them.

My roof mounted light bar is great. It lights up in front of the vehicle and to the sides of the road like it day time.
