Looking at GU, would like some insight

I'm looking at getting a desiel GU around the 12k mark.
Just wondering what different engines they come out with and what engine is the best in this model with the least problems.

They come in a 2.8, 3.0 and 4.2. The 4.2 is the best option but for that money I don't think you'll have much luck. But there are bargains out there so prove me wrong!

There were some issues earlier on many moons ago but from all my research theyre a good motor. I just bought a brand new one so im puttin my money where my mouth is. Do ya research. Get the facts not the crap as competition slams any competition.
