New to the forum.
I bought an old ford maverick late last year when I found my 6 cylinder sedan couldn't pull my new, (to me!) caravan.
We just finished a 3,000Km trip in it without a hiccup, no whipping or drag from the van, right vehicle for the right job!
Of course fuel was a problem, less than 4km per litre on LPG, even worse on petrol, but from the black smoke when it was on petrol makes me think a new carby kit is long overdue.
So here i am, picking owners brains on how to keep the old chook in good condition before our next trip in November.
