Hello from Jagman retired old motor man Southern Ireland - Seeks help with dimension of the following;

The depth/length of a bellhousing on a 98 Nissan Patrol GU Y61 model vehicle, fitted with RD2.8 ETI Diesel engine and an RE4R03A Automatic gearbox.

Alas no such vehicle sold in Europe - Manuals only

I want to install RE box to my XJ6 instead of the current 4n71b and the overall length is an issue.

Thanks

Hello Sherro,

Thanks for the welcome and advice. No luck with the alternatives so far.

I will try a sub forum in the General Discussions and hope for the best

Hello Clunk,

Thanks for the welcome. Unfortunately I can not provide any further information which would allow you to assist me. (In any event, being winter time with you, crawling under a vehicle outdoors is not the most pleasant of chores. The GQ TB42E, or any of the 4L + units were never supplied here)

The only engines supplied in Patrols on the island of Ireland were 3.3L x 6 cyl. or the 2,8L x 6 cyl. (LD or RD) and finishing with 3.0L ZD30, 4 cyl. In 2005/6.

I will try a sub forum in the General Discussions and hope for the best
