Silver or black top?

Hi guys so I heard that my black top gq td42 94 may be a silver top because it has the vacuum pump on the alternator.. Is this true?? Cheers

I think i read some where it was mid to late 95 the td's changed.

Post 93 changes were made. Really the most effective way to know what's what is to get inside.
