Nats/alarm question

Hi guys

I hope you can help - I've tried searching but can't fine anything relevant...

The battery on my GU was disconnected for most of the day today and on reconnection all was fine until I locked the door using the fob. After a few seconds I got the 'something isn't closed' bleep followed after a while by a second and then the alarm went off. I've checked all the doors and they are fine (and the light on the dash goes off when they are all closed).

Do I need to reset the alarm or something? Any other ideas?

First I would re-do the connections and go from there.

I am assuming it's an after market alarm? Have you searched google for the operating instruction or reset details for your system?

Maybe start there I reckon. You could also try disconnecting the battery again maybe?

No, its a factory alarm on a UK shortie. I'll try disconnecting and reconnecting.

Hmmm bugger, Aussie spec has the NATS and Imobiliser bit not an alarm and siren.

Sorry mate, if Yendor is about he might know more.
