I have a question about my 2006 4.2lt turbo diesel Patrol Ute over heating when towing my caravan on long hills when I am down to 1st or2nd gear. The caravan when loaded weighs 3 ton and the patrol 3.2 ton so we are dragging a bit of weight. I am thinking about changing the Radiator to a heavy duty PWR one.
I might also add that the patrol has a 3ins exaust system and also a diesel/gas conversion. Does anyone have a similar problem and if so how did you it.

welcome to the forum mate, best check the viscous hub first, you can service it and then try getting the radiator rodded. best thing is to use the search function and type in viscous hub, it will give you all the answers.
