Seems Landrover have a new concept that will see their range of 4wds UNBOGGABLE.
Don't shoot the messenger.
AB unveiled their invisible bonnet concept last month ,this is also on the new range of Land Rovers.
Easy enough to do with a camera looking at your front wheels, IMO
back to the unboggable they tried it on a Jaguar on the beach{sand] it took 2min but the Jag was mobile again.
It works via ABS and traction control sound interesting but wheres the fun in not getting bogged eh.
if interested in reading the whole story its in the latest 4x4 Australia Mag

If its got wheels you can get it bogged, not to mention the human factor some people will try and go where no vehicle should go.

All that tech is useless if the tyres are too small.

All that tech is useless if the tyres are too small.
Again that's why we choose to drive Patrols and not high tech ,high maintenance wiz bang Land Rovers or Rangies
All that technology comes at a price and a $150K 4x4 plus must cost a motsa to keep on the road

So what happens when the "unboggable" land rover hits a boghole and bellies out?

Several boggings I've seen are when guys get caught up on their diffs/bellies.

Unboggable*

Not only that by the time he crawled out you could have hooked up a snatch and pulled him out and been on your way.

I'll save my $90,000 on that feature that comes with a 200 series and spend $300 on max trax! Quicker too!

When they release the unboggable car, we should all send them a email, telling them to go show these guys how good it can drive through mud..... (lol)
