Off road V8 Kombi

Thought some of you may appreciate (or get a chuckle) out of my bro in laws VW Kombi, Its powered by a Toyota 1UZ (4 litre V8) :tongue:

Yeah I have a soft spot for them. I knew a guy who had one with a 13B turbo intercooled rotary motor in it. Bloody thing used to lift the front wheels when he floored it. Looked great too with 18inch rims and low profile tyres...

While its not super loud, you can hear it coming a street or two away, so to be honest, it never could be classed much of a sleeper in my book, nobody would ever think it was even close to standard for a second, especially with twin pipes the rumble of a V8 !
