Hi guys

I'm looking at getting a GQ patrol either with an RD28T or TD42.
It seems that both engines are pretty damn solid & both have a couple of things that I need to look out for. I don't need to tow anything heavy though so I'll probably go for a 2.8. But it'll probably be whatever I find that looks & runs well
I've only had petrol engined cars before so am keen to work on a diesel engine.

I saw that they have different gear ratios, but in the same gearbox.

Did they originally come with the same diffserentials?

I should just do more reading of posts, as I'll get the answers I'm sure.

Cheers!

Owen
