Just after some quick help??lol

Hey there,just putting my front end back together tonight and I have bolted my wheels on,checked my wheel bearing etc,gone too put the two washer and circlip on that goes on before the auto hub bolts on and I can't not get the circlip too fit back into the grove?i put the brass washer then the steel on then the circlip,can I take out the steel washer to make it fit??
Any help would be awesome!!

The axle will have some play in it so you might be Able to get some multi grips on it and pull it out a touch.

How far apart did you have it? I ask as there is a brass thrust that has a chamfer and if this is installed the wrong way can also cause the issue your having.

presume you're fixed by now. Hope so.
Suggest DO NOT leave either out. As GQman and the Newboy say, there's in/out play in the axle (possibly to allow for the 4WD hub locking/free positioning) so pull it out as far as it will go .The slightly pussy part is fitting both without pushing the axle back in.
