ABS light and clunking noise

[Nissan 99]

Hi guys I have a nissan patrol 1999 iv just noticed a noise coming by the sounds of it my front passengers wheel like a whinnying noise then when I apply my brake to almost stop a clunk noise happens then the ABS light stays then noise goes away but then whinnying noise could come back on at anytime again with the clunk noise any1 have any suggestions on what it is thanks.

could of ran out of front pads , to check remove wheel and inspect.
Don't drive if its dangerous.

Have checked brake pads and all are fine any other suggestions
