no radio?

Just bought a 99 patrol and the stereo doesnt work,checked the fuse is there any other simple checks i can do before i go into yhe dash .Thanks.

Run a test light to the connector to try isolate problem. Id imagine youll have to go into the dash either way.. whats the deck? Aftermarket?
