Firstly, I hope this is the correct area to post this.. Im sure someone will tell me it not.

And it may be a silly question but here goes ...... What should I use to lubricate and / or protect all the rubber bits under the truck. there are lots of tie rod ends, sway bar connectors, etc that are all rubber and are looking to be a little tired, dry and possibly even cracking. I have heard of people just hitting with CRC or WD40 but Im sure that being rubber that isn't all that good for them long term..

Is a silicone spray or lanolin based spray better, worse or same.?

Look forward to the helpful reply's ...

Can't hurt. Lanolin spray is good.

All the tie rod ends have grease nipples and should be serviced regularly along with the Uni joints in the front and rear drive shafts.

I just used lanolin as it doesn't affect ant rubbers or plastics. Drove down from Bathurst to Wollongong and all the little squeaks are gone.

If it has a grease nipper, grease it..
I personally use a high impact grease, will find out which one when home..
And use quality oils in the diffs and gearboxes.
As for rust protection there are a few different options.
Simple spray of lanotech spray, or you can use chassis black paint.
Or you can use a bitumen rubber based paint, much thicker, but messier to apply..
Imo a better option though..
