Just curious if anyone here has actually won any prizes from Facebook?

Loads of businesses are really pushing hard for the large audiences on fb by giving away prizes, it's getting out of control (good for consumers i guess) but just curious...have you won anything?

Don't get me wrong I'm about to market in the same way with australian replicas soon but just curious???

I won a free Hema Explorer app worth $49 through the hema facbook share 'n win thing they do sometime. Simon from 4wd tv does those competitions a lot.

Nope. Most of the ones I enter a photography related, which tend to be overseas based and when you read the T & C's, you have to be a resident of the US. So it's a quick delete of the post and unlike the page..... :)

There are also scams getting around Facebook like the Bunnings voucher giveaway, also saw one a little while back pretending to be Virgin Airlines......just like a lot of those "Like if you hate cancer" or "how many likes does he/she deserve" oh so many scams......
They're all out to fish for your details via your likes and then on-sell them.
I rarely ever like shit that I don't absolutely know where it's from.
It's a minefield out there.
