magnetic sump plug

Hi I am looking at putting a magnetic sump plug into my 2001 GU 4.2TDi wagon . does anybody know the thread size internal to the plug ? I use a 14mm socket to remove original . Cheers

The GU td42's I think are 12mm. Smaller than the ZD30's. But why the magnetic plug? Your filters will catch anything in the oil...
