GQ tachometer not working

Hi anybody else have an issue with their tachometer not working then intermittently flicking? If so what's the fix? Where is the pickup located?

Plug on the gearbox... one is speedo one is rpm and the other is neutral.

See if this is your problem first before moving on.

I had this problem. In my case its broken wire from rpm sensor. Its near the fuel pump.
Send me your e-mail in PM and I will send you a photo from wa 489 where is this sensor fitted.

I just fixed my tacho was a loose terminal on the coil (one of the blue wires to the - side of the coil

I presume that you already have this fixed though

do you have any issue with the vehicle missing, as I have had it iss and the taco would flick at the same time ( it was a wiring fault)
