Hi mate, i just bought 94' Nissan Patrol GQ 2 days back. She needs a little touch up here and there but man, she runs. I love fishing and camping and my current car isnt up to that challenge. And here i am, want to learn more of my new mistress( as my wife put it):D.

My gq had a problem with the oil seal on the front driver side which was fixed yesterday. Now i can smell diesel coming into the cabin when i'm driving. Could be oil leak somewhere near the fuel pump. Hmmm, back to the garage.

Hi mate, you don't need to buy a workshop manual now on the patrol. All the info you will ever need will be on here LOL.

Thanks for the warm welcome Family4x4Fun, my third 256, AB and Lightspeed. Definitely not a degreaser. The smell came after driving for 10 mins or so. And now i have a broken power window.

Welcome mate.
Bugga, not a great start, but these cars are getting on in age and require TLC.

Jump under your can and look for wet deisel spots on the body along drivers side chassis rail, fuel tank and then under bonnet on the firewall.
Let us know how you go..
