Ahh cool, sorry my apologies, i posted from my phone while sitting out in the hot car after following a google search!
I've come back inside and had a beer and should now introduce myself :)
I live down in the southern suberbs of Adelaide, i have an '01 GU ST 3ltr Patrol. Ive done a few mods so far including: 2" ironman lift, 2.75" beadesert exhaust, dawes and needle valves, boost and EGR gauges, entertainment system, MT tyres, home made draws, fridge, LED conversion for interior lights, and a few other small bits and pieces to make touring more comfortable.
I run a TX3440 CB for convoy and a TX3820 for scanning for other convoys. I had a TX3800 but i sold it because when it was mounted in the console i kept accidently changing the channels, and the face was hard to see. The TX3820 has the LCD in the microphone, which is much easier to see, and use!
My Apologies again for posting without introducing myself! And on my first post also, i look forward to reading your forum and learning from other like minded patrol owners.
Cheers,
Dronus
