Hi Rickie might be worth buying one for any future errors if any.
From memory only $235 I think

If you are only after occassional use and have MS Windows operated laptop/netbook just get the USB to Consult cable/interface and download ECUtalk software,
Cheers

The easiest option is here --> ECUTalk interface (http://www.ecutalk.com/interface.aspx)
or make your own of you have time and like to do things yourself or have not enough funds, all parts are available somewhere on the Interwebz like cable, Consult plug and pins, USB to serial adapter/board....
You mileage will vary though.
Personally, I think for ZD30 owners this one of the best investment in the toolbox. Saves you time guessing and replacing things unnecessarily. Everyone should have that one.

Just look at the page I have linked to earlier. It show you exactly how each plug Consult or OBD2 looks like and where is their location.
Then look at yours and make decision. I believe that "fake" colored OBD2 plug was fitted on Y61 from Series 4 onwards.
So Consult plug bellow
44683 44687
and
OBD2 plug -->
44686
The plugs should located just above accelerator pedal behind the panel. You can see if you poke your head there.
Cheers
