“Killing oneself is, anyway, a misnomer. We don't kill ourselves. We are simply defeated by the long, hard struggle to stay alive. When somebody dies after a long illness, people are apt to say, with a note of approval, "He fought so hard." And they are inclined to think, about a suicide, that no fight was involved, that somebody simply gave up. This is quite wrong.”

So young mate, such a shame.

You just wish you could say to anyone in that frame of mind at that age that whatever is happening will go away and life gets better or at least talk to family, friends, social worker rather than bottling up whatever demons and letting it manifest into greater things to result in what just happened!

Sorry bud!!!

Sorry for your loss Growler, be it friend or relation.

Unfortunately, this is something I have had too much experience with and, as Clunk said, am still at a loss for words.

It's very unfortunate that his demons got the better of him before anyone could help.
As you mentioned he hid them well.
If anyone needs to chat remember were all here with open ears.

Rest in peace young one. May your memory live on strong..

It is always terrible to hear about anybody taking their own life and much worse with someone so young.
It seams he has lost a battle that nobody knew he was fighting.
My thoughts go out to all those affected.
May he rest in peace.
