They're in NW china on the hottest road, ATM. They keep getting stuck in the sand. To my untrained eye, the tyres look to be at a very high pressure. The tread looks suspiciously the same as the snow tyre tread, with round studs.

It's now the Malaysian jungle episode. Lots of mud and winching. They showed a shot of the engine and stated it is a 4.2 liter diesel, but it had the old style air box on top of the engine. Maybe non-turbo???

I watched these ages ago. The Malaysian episode before remind me of toolangi a lot when it's wet up there.

I also saw some bloopers of this show, and one episode they forgot to engage low range yet the patrol still made it. Lol
