Just fitted a manual bleed valve, turns out it's min setting is 16 psi.
As we know this is to hi for a std HT18 on td42t.
HT18 std setting was about 9, was looking for about 12psi.

Can we have a list of types other a using and their adjustable range.
guesing range is a bit of a ask, but what ever you know please.

What brand mate?

I wasn't aware any boost tee's had a "minimum" setting. I have used a couple of different types and you just wind it out till the control is back with actuator.

How have you hooked it up?

Excuse me, having a bl##de moment.
brand escapes me.
arrow on body in direction of boost flow to actuator, and hooked up a such.

I thought the same also about 0 psi should be min setting.
will find pamphlet and double check, don't remember such advise and I did read it after all.

surley its not in backwards would think that would max out psi.
Humm, go-fast toy boy parts may have a min?.

Brand is DRIFT.

little bulky in size.
was on special and couldn't at the time justify paying extra for set & forget item
install once and out if the way, size not a problem really.

Some times the length of the vacuum hose can affect how much boost you have too, so maybe try shorter hose and see how you go

Not necessarily mate if there isn't enough fuel then it will only make so much boost. You could have the wrong way around. Is one port larger than the other?

Darn it, cant find manual,
was on work bench.

hose length is long I know, T is to heavy to just suspend by hose.
that's why I mtd it that way.
always something to muck ya round.
try install againnnnnnn.
custom bracket time.
Thanks fellers.

Just zip tie it to the cooler hose just for you to test untill you figure it out

I don't think it will be the hose length. I run a turbosmart item and have it zip tied to the a/c lines so it's very easily accessed so my hoses would be twice as long as yours mate.

The quality between Turbosmart and Drift are miles apart tho. From my experience the hose length affect all my turbo cars saying that they where petrol not diesel but the "T" or needle valve should work the same, to confuse the wastegate actuator by allowing less air to get to it to make more boost

yeah I'm up to speed with the workings but the min 16psi outcome was a curve ball.
Will have another look at the T, and see what I can figure.
