Hi there, another new kid........

I've recently got my hands on a 89 Patrol - she's a bit rough, but with some love & attention I'm sure she'll come up good.
It's fitted with a sway bar disconnect (?) looks like a Ford handbrake under the dash. It also appears to have front & rear vacuum lockers fitted.
Just gotta find out how to check they're working!

I'll be up for some fun in due course no doubt.

Looks like I'll need to concentrate on making sure the lockers that are fitted are working.
Does anyone recommend anyone in Adelaide to d reasonably priced work - or for beer?

If its like the rest you just need to apply vacume to the actuator. Id check out those vacume lines with the age of that truck. Most likely all cracked.
Lift up both tires and they should both spin the same direction if locked and reverse directions if free.

I have vacuum - looks like the solenoids are not working.
I saw somewhere on here about an aftermarket replacement.
Oh - it has the rear locker only - no front fitted - I just need to learn to follow hoses correctly!
