4.2 TDi Radiator hoses

G'day Guys and Girls,

I'm trying to find a hose kit for my GU and don't care to pay $200 for 2 hose's that's just mad!

Is there a difference between the TD and the TDi hose's? As I can find heaps of them for the TD but non for the TDi?

Cuppa did a thread on sizes for the 4.2td from Repco I think,
have you had a search??

Yes there is a difference. The later model TD's (factory intercooled) had a slightly different radiator. I had dramas maybe 18 months ago with the same thing and ended going genuine as I could be sure they would be correct. There are aftermarket top and bottom hoses available it's just a matter of finding them. The heater hoses on the other hand I found were quite difficult to get aftermarket so again I went genuine as there are like 6 hoses just for the heater circuit.
