Hi

My family and I have a 08 Patrol Wagon, has been a great vehicle! Has got us through tough conditions in outback NSW where we have just moved from.

I have been searching for anyone who has had any issues with complete loss of power when the car is relatively cold. We get to third gear and the engine shuts off, no steering and a lurching in the clutch pedal as it happens. The car starts again and seems to reset itself but it may happen a few times then off she goes??
It is an 08 DX 3 litre common rail turbo diesel.

Welcome to the forum Carlie, do a search in the box top rh side of the page. There are plenty of threads on loss of power with these engines, like sherro I have an old school engine, 4.2 tdi :)
