Apologies for not introducing myself earlier.
I don't own a 4wd yet. I own a Holden one tonner I am restoring. But youngest son has a Ford maverick (TB42, dual fuel), and eldest son has a MK (l28 dual fuel). I get to work and drive both.
I drive the MK to work and back. It has a 2 1/4" exhaust with single offset resonator. It is loud. When we first picked up, we had to replace the Holley Carb with a new one. Then we just had to replace the usual components like park plugs and leads. Recently we installed a pentronix ignition module. Absolutely without doubt the best after market investment we made.
