Can anybody help me out I will be very grateful, I bought Nissan safari 2000 model from Japan, the problems I have are 1st: when I drive off from spot it is very slow for 4.5L engine, same thing when driving up the slopes does not matter how far I push accelerator it is driving with the same speed. second problem i can't figure out is, whats the different having engagement stick inside the car and also the outside on the tires for off road looks like they do the same thing.

If you don't mind mate jump over to the intro section and introduce yourself, tell us a bit about yourself and you rig. Just something we asks of all new comers. Also if you do a search you might be able to find the answer you are looking for.
Regarding the power it could be many things, what other symptoms are there ( smoke coming from the exhaust, overheating, surging. But off the top of my head it sounds like a fuel delivery prob but I could be wrong.
Regarding the other q the stick in the cab is for selecting hi & low range and the ones on your hubs are for locking and unlocking your hubs.

Please do an intro as requested. Is it an auto of manual? Is the little stick inside forward or bar I? Is the car in Low Range? How long have you owned it? How fast is top speed?

Also don't expect too much speed from these vehicles, they aren't designed to go up hills fast, not unless you modify them anyway.
