Do all GU Patrol 4.2 engine serial numbers end with a letter? For example TD42 162792T. And what is the significance it? If there any GU owners out there who's TD42 engine's serial number does not end with a letter I would be interested to know!

Mine has a T on the end. I assume its because they are factory Turbo in the U's.

Not all were T. Mine ends with an A (factory turbo, intercooled). I believe some of the earlier NA engines may not have but am not 100%
