Any one herd or better still using a Worley radiator? thinking of upgrading the radiator in the GQ diesel, I have had a look around and by far the best priced is the worley there offering a 3 row 52 mm core aluminium radiator with 40% better cooling efficiency then standard for $200, is this to good to be true??? (probably) is there a better bargain out there any input on the subject would be great cheers.

I've been through 2 in a matter of about 6 months. I wouldn't get one again. It may have been because it was in contact with the body and suffered galvanic corrosion, but I wouldn't buy another to test this. Where the tubes connect to the side tanks started seeping fluid.

Hopefully someone here has had one for much longer and had success, but I certainly haven't.

If it wasn't isolated from the body that is exactly what would have happened mate. Can't fault the radiator for that....

I should have clarified. It may have been in contact with the body, which caused it to fail. I didn't check when the first 2 failed whether there was contact or not.

I still maintain the fact that I wouldn't buy one again.

so you are poorly rating a business when you so poorly installed a radiator you did not even check it for isolation to the rest of the vehicle?
I dont think that is fair mate, whether the rad is shit or not, you cant really provide any good info...

I had a Aluminium Radiator now 6 weeks now , love it and have been sitting in traffic on hot days without the air-con cutting out when you need it . got unit of ebay within 3 days and replaced fan blade too as there was cracks in fins . here a link http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-GU-PATROL-Y61-petrol-4-5L-Automatic-1997-Aluminum-Radiator-/251465846861?ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:AU:3160 regards Alex
